why are my airpods & headset so quiet?

Your airpods are very quiet due to earwax buildup on them, plus your device’s battery level or volume is low. It could also be that your device’s firmware is outdated or its hardware is damaged, audio settings like low power mode, audio equalizer, or even bluetooth connectivity issues that could cause the airpods to go silent.

first thing to do is check the balance of your media player, it might be set to one side instead of the other, also check for any loose connections in the jack plug in case you’re using a wired headset, consider checking if one side of your headset is dirty, or if the audio file you’re playing is playing on one side lower than the other, if that’s not solving the problem, try swapping sides of your headphones, left in the right ear and vice versa. If you see the same result, consider consulting an otolaryngologist.

#1 – problem with audio file

what I mean by an audio file problem is whatever type of audio file you are playing this could be mp3 or wav or any other type of file and regardless of the type of file my goal is the quality of the The audio in that file has been recorded or transcoded, in other words, the audio you are playing may be encoded at a low volume, so no matter how much you turn the volume up, it will still be relatively low for you.

    #2 – earwax problem

airpods have rechargeable batteries, when those batteries are low, like less than 10%, they will start to disconnect from the device you are using due to lack of ability to connect and communicate wirelessly, so you should feel that your airpods are quiet.

how to fix airpods low battery issue

you just need to recharge the airpods by connecting it to the charging cable or if you have a charging base for at least 30-40 minutes to enjoy hours of functionality.

    #5: Wireless headset connectivity issue

this could happen with any type of bluetooth earphone or headset, which are electrical devices that sometimes freeze or disconnect from your mobile device or media player over a bluetooth connection, so sometimes you may face your wireless headphones to be quieter or to the side. be silent due to a connectivity or pairing issue.

many people across the internet asked the same question as yours (airpods volume suddenly lower than normal?), (one of my airpods suddenly became 30% lower than the other) or (my headphones sound too low at maximum volume), those questions prove that you are not alone and that while others have similar problems with their wireless or bluetooth headphones, there should be a solution that I describe in this point that is related to bluetooth pairing and connectivity errors.
